Friday Night Interclub

The program is here  Relay is 4 x 200m, remember to sign up at the OVA tent.

Our duty this week is Shotput at 7.15pm for the men and 7.40pm for the women. No roster this week - volunteers needed for both shot puts. We have a number of our regular helpers away so please step up and help out. We will have people to help you and lots of very easy jobs.

Our random prize winner from round 4  was Dylan Hoare, who made the run in the rain worthwhile.  

Remember to check in at the OVA tent and put your name in for the random draw. And sign up for the relay while you are there!

All Schools News

The Primary competition was held last weekend in Launceston.  Congratulations to Stella Knighton and Milla Gorringe on their fabulous results.  Stella broke her 1500m u12 OVA record again with a massive PB.  Milla was part of the Bronze medal winning Sprint Medley relay team.  Well Done Girls!

Next weekend our High Schoolers head to Perth for their turn on the National Stage.  Good Luck to Oliver Nogajski, Blake Doyle, Isobel Gray and Bailey van den Broek.  Rosie Coleman and Amanda Robertson are making to trip over as Officials as well

Thanks to our Club Captains for organising our social event last Friday.  Let us know what your would like to do next - Mini Golf, Pizza, another suggestion.

Things to Remember..

• Wear your OVA uniform and remember to bring your number.  If you haven't yet collected it, numbers will be at the tent.
• Sign in at least 30 min before the start time listed in the program for your first event. (If you are unsure come and see us at the OVA tent for help)
• Check in at the OVA tent for your chance to win a prize. (Check the facebook group to see last weeks winner)
• Sign up for a relay team
• If you are withdrawing from an event please see admin and scratch

If you have a friend that would like to come and trial bring them along.  OVA will help out with the trialling fee.  There is some extra paperwork needed before registering for an event - so allow some extra time.

Special General Meeting 16th December.  

This will include our Special General Meeting to update our constitution, our special prize draw, record certificate presentations and pre Christmas fun.

Night of Fives - inc 5000m State Champs.  Open to members and non-members to enjoy a 5km run on track.  A sprint event will also be included in the program.  Food, drinks, fun and great racing.  Saturday 13th January 2024
