We have Shotput at 2.15pm and 3.15pm with helpers needed for this event please – lots of easy jobs, please come over and help out.

Relay is 4 x 400m at 3.50pm – sign up at the tent on your arrival so we can get our team entered in plenty of time.  Like all events relay entries close 30 minutes before.

Remember to scratch from any events you decide to no longer compete in, especially hurdles.

Come to the tent to get a cold drink on Saturday - our treat!  You might also win a Liv Eat voucher for checking in.

Congratulations

Last Saturday saw some inaugural para records being set by Alice Smillie in the 60m and Tom Cane in the 60m and 200m.

Jacob Despard flew (literally with a +5 wind reading) up the track at the Adelaide Invitational to coming second in the 100m and 3rd in the 200m.

Entry Portal Open

The entry portal for the Tasmanian State Championships is now open on the Athletics Tasmania website.  There are no qualifying standards to enter State Championships

We will be looking for relay runners so send an email, message the page or speak to Brendan Hanigan or a Club Captain.

Athlete Assistance Available

For those athletes heading to the Australian Athletics Championships in Perth OVA does offer financial assistance to any athlete or family that has participated in our fundraising events or duties inc Cadbury Marathon, Night of Fives, TAL Carnival or Shot Put Duty at interclub.  Check our website for details and the application form.
