What a great start to the season for OVA!  Lots of PB's to start the season.  1500m Race Walk record to Adele W. 5 OVA relay teams signed up. Some very exciting racing, jumping and throwing.

Interclub Week 2 kicks off at 12.45pm for Hammer, but keep an eye out for some special guests in Hobart this week.  Brandon Starc (Australian High Jump Champion) and his coach Alex Stewart will be conducting a clinic at the Domain this weekend.  We know our OVA Jumpers are very excited to be taking part in this clinic.

Club Photo - 12.30pm - To mark our 60th Anniversary we would love to take a whole club photo on Saturday. Please come along by 12.30pm for a quick photo op.

Interclub Program is here.  Round 2.  Relay is 4 x200m, remember to sign up at the OVA tent.

Our duty this week is Discus at 2pm for the women and 2.50pm for the men.  Rostered families this week are Coad, Gregg, Hatten, Lange, Mathers and Walker. We will have people to help you and lots of very easy jobs.  If you are available to help out  extra helpers are always appreciated.

This Saturday OVA has the Function Room available to us as well.  Coffee machine, bar, great view of the track.  Come on up and chill out or warm up and relax.  Invite friends or family to come and get the best seat in the house to watch you compete. Catch up with your friends from other clubs.  (We are looking for some helpers with an RSA or Barista skills so please let us know if you can help out for part of the interclub afternoon - funds raised go to OVA).

Things to Remember..

• Wear your OVA uniform and remember to bring your number.  If you haven't yet collected it, numbers will be at the tent.
• Sign in at least 30 min before the start time listed in the program for your first event. (If you are unsure come and see us at the OVA tent for help)
• Check in at the OVA tent for your chance to win a prize. (Check the facebook group to see last weeks winner)
• Sign up for a relay team
• If you are withdrawing from an event please see admin and scratch

If you have a friend that would like to come and trial bring them along.  OVA will help out with the trialling fee.  There is some extra paperwork needed before registering for an event - so allow some extra time.
