On Saturday we have Discus duty at 1.00pm and 3.15pm.  Helpers will be needed - lots of easy jobs and we can teach you what to do to help.

Relay this week is 4 x 400m. Can we get a few teams out there and get some points on the board..

Sign in prize is back - Come and sign in at the tent when you arrive and you will go in the draw to win an OVA cap or LivEat Voucher.  Congratulations to Kayla our winner from last week (who also stormed home in the relay on Saturday).

Running Edge prize and trophy for our club Highest Point scorer.  Rebecca Mathers  moves to the lead for our Women and  Dylan Hoare still leads the way for the Men.  Points are scored for every event you compete in and including relays.  Give a new event a try, sign up for the relay - win a pair of shoes! The distance event at Master's on a Wednesday night is also points scoring so head along for a mid week longer run to add some points - just remember your OVA top and bib.

For athletes heading to National All Schools as part of the Tasmanian team OVA does offer Athlete Assistance.  Head to the OVA Website and check out under the Downloads tab for more information.

Reminders for all athletes

• Register for your event at least 30 min before the start time listed in the program.  Allow yourself plenty of time and please come to the OVA tent if you need help.
• You must be in your club singlet or crop top when competing.
• You must have your number pinned on - no exceptions!.  Come to the tent if you haven't yet collected your bib.

If you have a friend that would like to come and trial bring them along.  OVA will help out with the trialling fee.  There is some extra paperwork needed before registering for an event - so allow some extra time.

WWVP

We will need WWVP details for all our helpers - please register as a volunteer or social member and provide that information.  Otherwise please email your WWVP registration number and expirary date to this email address.  Athletes who have already registered and have a WWVP you can now add this to your registration.

Upcoming Events

Night of Fives - Keep your eye out for more information on this event.  A great fun night of 5km races and this year we add a teams event as well.  This is a fundraiser for OVA so helpers will be needed.  Mark Saturday 19th January in your diary!

OVA Carnival is on Sunday 2nd February - handicap racing at the Domain!
