Interclub Round 12

Interclub is a World Ranking Certified meet again this week - the highlight will be the Hanigan/McIntrye 800m with lots of OVA runners in the feature event.  Be there to cheer them on in the race for cash, bragging rights and maybe a record.

First events this week are at 12.30pm with Javelin and 3000m races.  Please check the program on the Athletics South website - there are lots of different events and requirements due to the WRC status of the meet.  PLEASE NOTE - your sign in sheet will look different so please check it carefully ensuring you enter the right events and have the correct shoes!  

Shotput will be at 2.20pm and 3.10pm. Please check the Members Group for roster but we always appreciate volunteers to help out at both events.  Jobs are easy and you will be shown what to do.

Relay is 4 x200m - put your name down at the tent.

Also remember - if you are withdrawing from an event please let the official or admin know so you can be scratched, especially for hurdles and sprints.

Remember to check in at the OVA tent and put your name in for the random draw. And sign up for the relay while you are there!

Keep working on those Premiership Points - not too many more rounds to see who gets the Trophy and the Running Edge voucher. Issy Gray and Bailey van den Broek appear to be leading the way at the moment.

Congratulations to Adele Woodward on her Silver Medal at the Road Race Waling Championships in Adelaide last weekend.  Jacob Despard and Alexander McKillop continued good form at the Maurie Plant Meet last night in Melbourne.  #GoOVA

Things to Remember..

• Wear your OVA uniform and remember to bring your number.  
• Sign in at least 30 min before the start time listed in the program for your first event. (If you are unsure come and see us at the OVA tent for help)
• Check in at the OVA tent for your chance to win a prize. (Check the facebook group to see last weeks winner)
• Sign up for a relay team
• If you are withdrawing from an event please see admin and scratch
