Well done to all our team members with great performances across the board showing true OVA spirit to take out the trophy.  We may be one of the smaller clubs but we showed we had great team spirit to take out the prize.

Stellar Performances

This past week has been highlighted by great performances - Alex Hanigan just .06 off the State 1000m record, Jacob Despard winning in Canberra with a PB (and OVA record) and Alexander McKillop getting gold and bronze in Canberra too.  Issy Gray ran a fabulous handicap race on the weekend to take home the sash.  Lots of other OVA runners making finals as well.

Interclub - Round 10

Interclub is a 1pm start this weekend.  Three throws on the program this week - make sure you indicate which one you would like 6 throws in if you would like the extra chance. We will have Discus duty this Saturday at 2.00pm and 3.10pm.   Check the OVA Members Group for roster. Relay is 4 x100m - put your name down at the tent.

Remember to check in at the OVA tent and put your name in for the random draw. And sign up for the relay while you are there!

STATE RELAYS Sunday 4th Feb along with 10000m and Steeple Championships

Lots of OVA on show this weekend and we have a number of teams competing in the relays on Sunday.  Come along and cheer on the the Blue, Green and Gold.  Details will be posted in the members group. Thank you to all those who have made themselves available to run.  We are still hoping for an second u18 4 x200m so if you haven't confirmed your availability let us know,

TAL Carnival

Last Sunday was our TAL Carnival.  A great fundraiser for the club and chance for our sprint and middle distance stars to shine in the handicap format.  Huge Thank you to Mark Nichols for his organisation of the carnival.  Also to our many sponsors - check our socials for their details and please give them some support.

Things to Remember..

• Wear your OVA uniform and remember to bring your number.  
• Sign in at least 30 min before the start time listed in the program for your first event. (If you are unsure come and see us at the OVA tent for help)
• Check in at the OVA tent for your chance to win a prize. (Check the facebook group to see last weeks winner)
• Sign up for a relay team
• If you are withdrawing from an event please see admin and scratch

If you have a friend that would like to come and trial bring them along.  OVA will help out with the trialling fee.  There is some extra paperwork needed before registering for an event - so allow some extra time.
