Our Primary School members Elsie Woodward, Adele Woodward, Stella Knighton had a great competition last weekend competing in the throws (Elsie and Adele) and distance runs (Stella) - lots of PB's.  Well done girls!

High School members  - Cooper Mayer, Lucy Stonemen, Kayla McPherson, Milah Hatten, Amelia Steedman, Tegan Dench, Darcy Direen, Alice Smillie, Blake Doyle and Travis Round have arrived in Brisbane ready for a hot weekend of competition. Keep your eye on the socials for news and photos from the weekend.

Rosie and Amanda are there as officials as well, so plent of OVA represented. #GoOVA.

Shout out to Ultra Stars

Well done to current member Sarah Duncan for taking on the Bruny Island Ultra solo last weekend.  Amazing effort Sarah!

The male winner of the event was former member and winner of our Winter Athlete of the Year - Brad Tennick.  He completed the event in a record time as well.  Congratulations Brad!

WWVP

We will need WWVP details for all our helpers - please register as a volunteer or social member and provide that information.  Otherwise please email your WWVP registration number and expirary date to this email address.  Athletes who have already registered and have a WWVP you can now add this to your registration.

Upcoming Events

Night of Fives -  Entry Portal is open.  Check out the website for details Night of Fives.  A great fun night of 5km races and this year we add a teams event as well.  This is a fundraiser for OVA so helpers will be needed.  Mark Saturday 19th January in your diary!  Night of Fives includes the 5000m Tasmanian State Championships plus some other Championship events - stay tuned.

OVA Carnival is on Sunday 2nd February - handicap racing at the Domain!
