Interclub Round 11

Interclub starts at 9am this Saturday with the 5000m,Hammer and Long Jump.  There is a 60m Dash included in the program this week.  

‍PLEASE NOTE - your sign in sheet will look different so please check it carefully ensuring you enter the right events and have the correct shoes!  Saturday is another World Ranking meet which means that shoes will be checked for legality and some events may be divided accordingly.  Interclub is still about personal performances, premiership points and having fun - world ranking meets do make things a little more complicated for our officials, so please be patient with them and follow the directions on the forms.

Shotput will be at 9.50am and 10.50am.  A lot of our officials and committee will be away with Little Athletics commitments this weekend, so we ask for volunteers to help out at both events this week.  Jobs are easy and you will be shown what to do.

Relay is 4 x100m - put your name down at the tent.

Also remember - if you are withdrawing from an event please let the official or admin know so you can be scratched, especially for hurdles and sprints.

Remember to check in at the OVA tent and put your name in for the random draw. And sign up for the relay while you are there!

Keep working on those Premiership Points - not too many more rounds to see who gets the Trophy and the Running Edge voucher. Issy Gray and Bailey van den Broek appear to be leading the way at the moment.

Things to Remember..

• Wear your OVA uniform and remember to bring your number.  
• Sign in at least 30 min before the start time listed in the program for your first event. (If you are unsure come and see us at the OVA tent for help)
• Check in at the OVA tent for your chance to win a prize. (Check the facebook group to see last weeks winner)
• Sign up for a relay team
• If you are withdrawing from an event please see admin and scratch

If you have a friend that would like to come and trial bring them along.  OVA will help out with the trialling fee.  There is some extra paperwork needed before registering for an event - so allow some extra time.
